So how I made it is. You need only nature. The first step is to get four leaves. After that get and flower for the ears. The last step is to get flower petals. Only two. Than you get the four leaves and put two on the other side with the other two on the other side. Than get your petals and make it into a roll, than lie it, into a line. After that get your flower and put it on top of your flowers. Leave a comment if you tried it!
Kia Ora Angel,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Shannon, and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.
You’ve created such a gorgeous butterfly! I like how big it is and how you’ve used textured leaves to give the butterfly’s wings some definition. I also like how you’ve used so many different colours in your creation. What will you name it?
I love butterflies, they’re my favourite insect. I live in Dunedin and we have a butterfly exhibit at the museum here. It’s in a super warm room and there’s a waterfall through the middle. The butterflies all flutter round freely, and eat from all the flowers growing in there. It’s amazing. I once even had a butterfly land on me! What’s your favourite insect?
Happy blogging!

Hey Shannon.
ReplyDeleteI heard you love butterflies.
Me too!
Why do you like butterflies?
Is it because of their colourful wings?
Well anyways thanks for the comment!
Hi Angel,
DeleteI love butterflies because they remind me of my family. When I was a little girl, I used to go over to my Aunty's house and see lots of monarch butterflies floating through the sky. She had swan plants too so I even got to see them transform from caterpillars to cocoons to butterflies. It's incredible!
Why do you like butterflies?
Have a great day,
Shannon (SLJ)
Kia ora Angel,
ReplyDeleteI'm Whaea Vicki who created this activity for the Summer Learning Journey. I have to say, I love your butterfly! Like Shannon said, the textured leaves make great wings! And I really like the different coloured body.
Did you find it tricky to make your butterfly? It looks fantastic!
