My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey.
I thought this activity was very interesting as it teaches you about Tānerore who you are able to see often on these hot summer days and about the infamous kowhaiwhai pattern seen throughout Māori culture. Could you share what you learnt about Tānerore?
I think your Kowhaiwhai is very pretty, did you draw it yourself? What did you use to draw it? I think it looks very similar to a silver fern. Are there any other Kowhaiwhai patterns you think you could add, maybe a new pattern for each member of your family.
Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.
My name is Deborah and I attend intermediate at Pt England School. What a lovely kowhaiwhai pattern. I just hoped that you added in a bit more description sharing some more information about the task and what is a Kowhaiwhai. But overall, STUNNING ! You did a great job !
Kia Ora Angel,
