Summer Learning Journey - Wk1(Day 1) - Treasure Hunt with Nanogirl

Welcome to my Zoo!! Learn about how I made my zoo with the help of Nanogirl. Problems I had: Cutting the holes was very hard because my sister couldn't cut the holes out. I think that you should cut out the holes before you tape the cardboards to make a cube. My next problem was putting the strings through the hole. This was  hard because the strings were so small that it couldn't get through the hole. Luckily, the holes on the roof was very big so that help.
Tip: Make big holes in the roof to get the string through easily.
Overall, just have fun with it and you will love the end product.

  2. Kia Ora Angel,

My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey, it is awesome to see your first post of the summer and I look forward to seeing more as you continue blogging!

I thought this activity was interesting as you had to be creative and find substitutes for items you might not have had and it is the first activity in a series of fun Nano Girl activities and experiments.

Your zoo is amazing and such a fun and creative idea. I found your video to be a very helpful and educational tutorial that anyone could easily follow to make their own zoo. Your decorations and animals look great in there and I am sure your zoo will be a fun item you can play with over the summer.

For the NanoGirl activity it is important to collect and hold on to the materials she listed as they are important for the other activities you will be doing with Nano Girl over the summer so maybe you could collect some more materials and put some aside to use later!

Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.

    Ngā mihi nui,
    Zana Yates
