Kia ora Angel! Happy New Year to you and your whanau!
Thank you for sharing your flamingo geometric art. I really like that you have captured the typical flamingo pose on one leg and your rainbow shading.
I also like that you have used such a bright green and orange background that is so vibrant! Do you like to draw? I am not very good at free-hand drawing but I like to draw using a device - I find it supports my lack of natural talent ha ha!
I hope you are continuing to enjoy your break! Have you got up to any fun outdoor activities recently? I have also done lots of reading of fiction books. Do you like to read over the summer break?
I look forward to your reply, Nga mihi nui Naomi (Manaiakalani Facilitator)
My name is Quein and I am a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. WOW!!! I really was impressed by the flamingos that you have drawn. It is fantastic to see your creativity and imagination. I really liked the colors you used as well I like drawings that have multiple colors in them as the world is full of colors that should be used to express creativity.
Interesting fact is that flamingos get their pink pigment from the food that they eat. Have you ever seen the flamingos at Auckland Zoo?
Keep up the Super work we look forward to your next blog post!!!
Kia Ora Quien!!!! Glad you like it! I decided to put colours for the background for more details...! Yes, I have seen flamingos! Thanks for the comment !!!
Thanks for sharing the photo of your flamingo drawing! You have done a fantastic job of this geometric animal art challenge. Well done! I like the way you have chosen to draw a pair of flamingos facing each other - they look great. I hope you enjoyed this task :) I look forward to seeing more creative blog posts from you over the summer.
