Angel - Nasty Nits

It’s bad to think about anything good about lice. They live on us, and what do we get in return? Dandruff, itchy head and tired fingers. Do you know why female lice are worse than male lice? Well you see female’s hug each other, unlike boys, boys just do their handshake and carry on. Lice can travel a long way just to stick their claws into people’s good scalpels. What I meant when I said lice can travel a long way, I meant that they could travel if you share hats with other people such as brushes and lots more! Head lice move by crawling because they cannot fly or hop. Which means head lice don’t play fair.

Head lice are small insects that live in people’s head or on the scalp. This is because head lice only feed on one type of blood: human blood

( unlike fleas, which can survive on blood from animals and human! ) Can you believe it? Sadly, head lice do have a secret weapon which is their claws. { Fun fact: lice feed several times a day } How to stop lice from travelling inside of your hair: Use your own hats and brushes, use special shampoo, don’t hug each other, wash your hair every second day and use the nit comb.

Angel - Save Our Environment

Please teach others not to litter and to do the right thing. :)

Angel - Glen Innes Stream

This is the Glen Innes stream. It is very dirty. A long time ago

( before 2007 ) it was so clean. It was so clean that you could drink it and bathe in it. Right now there is a lot of rubbish in it. The Glen Innes stream isn’t clean. You can tell if the water isn’t clean because fish will stop breathing and float. Watercare contractors were pumping the contaminated water out of the creek when O’Meara arrived. Since 2007 to right now ( 2021 ) the colour of the Glen Innes stream hasn’t changed. In February a sewage leak into the Omaru creek turned the water black and filled it with dead fish and eels. Please do not litter and tell others to do the right thing.
